I can’t believe 2019 is almost over! It has been such a special and exciting year for me personally and for my business, and I am so incredibly grateful for all the learning, triumphs and challenges this year has brought me. So grateful in fact that I felt like I needed to tip my hat to a small sample of my favorite client moments this year (there’s too many to count!) I actually met these two while shooting a wedding, and I’m so excited to soon be shooting theirs! Bonnie & Myles are the kind of couple that you just know are in for the long haul. You can tell they love and appreciate each other deeply. This was one of my favorite shoots at Big Hill Springs!
Can I just be sappy for a second here? My brother Keesje Hoogveld grew his business SO much this year, and I am crazy proud of him! He’s been quietly honing his skills for years now, and this year he really showed us all what he can do! Can’t wait to see what Bearded Axe Leather does next!

This project was for my one and only soul sister Kristen. She hired me to take some lovely photos of her and her Dad (who I also lovingly call “Dad”), and trusted me to put together a beautiful printed book of the photos as Christmas presents for them both. I love and cherish you guys!
